Ka-me-le-o-ni-see-ru-vad, see on sõna nüüd.

Can you feel it it’s the 80’s coming back to 2017. Loads of Spring Summer 2017 runway shows already featured bold looks and bold colours, like Thom Browne and blue & mint lips, Jeremy Scott and orange-green-lavender eyeshadows, Adam Selman & cheeky blushy cheecks. Makes sense that beauty industry can not sit still and must hop on that pop art train.

Saying that the leader in the beauty & colours field MAC has come up with Work it Out range that features an enormous amount of different colours. Especially in the lipstick area. I think I personally know at least 10 different make up artists that have told me that they are sick of ordering different lip shades online, and by shades I don’t mean red and darker red, I mean like grey and green! What would you doo with these colours you ask? I don’t know, put them on your eyebrows if you please, have fun, nothing will fall out your pretty face! :)

I thought I’d also put down a little background on me and MAC. About 10 years ago when I was just starting out as a young art director in the design and advertising industry, I organised all sorts of editorial photoshoots and all of the coolest make-up artists where using MAC,  for younger me it was like this un-achievable dream brand (haha not anymore!). I also remember few years back when I was a juror for Cosmopolitan or some other magazine’s beauty awards, I got to test one MAC mascara and had to stick to it for yeeeaaaars as it was the only lash product that didn’t stick to my double eyelids. And now in their new campaign they use the word KEWL, what a coincidence, I haven’t heard this interpretation of cool in a while :D So yeah, MAC knows how to positively push my buttons, and for me for a collab or a story, it’s the most important, to have this mutual background and history going on.

Tulemus on nüüd siin.

If you didn’t already read without words I can explain using them. What happened is that Lilli Jahilo called me up and asked me to style her fresh capsule collection, as this awesome woman gave me free hands I took on art directing and post production as well, and that’s how these japanesque collages were born. Of course they had more moms than me, so I clap my hands to our make up, photography, model and of course designer team. I got all the details and accessories I needed from Fankadelik Vintage, socks from Happy Socks of course and most of the shoes from Tamaris spring-summer collection.

Thanks for tagging along,
now scroll on this springness and feel it inside your home so it will soon be shining outside too :)

You think these gorgeous robot girls are standing on water?
They’re really standing on a river of my drool.
That’s how much I like FYODOR GOLAN.

Disainiduuo.

Fyodor õppis kauneid kunste Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerpis ja Golan on omandanud oskusi Istituto Marangoni Londonis. Kokku on neil moetööstuses kõva taust – Alexander McQueen, Issey Miyake, Richard Nicol ja Raf Simons. Ühiskaubamärgi hooaeg number kaks võitis Fashion Fringe auhinna ning 2015 aastal sai auhinnatud ka e-pood Decoded Fashion Future Awardsil.

FYODOR GOLAN loob riideid võrgutavale, haprale ja vaprale naisele.

FYODOR GOLAN is a London based label and it’s freshly released SS17 visuals speak computer language, speak my language, and tease my eyes like they haven’t been teased in a long long time. It’s like the Black Mirror meets Sailor Moon and I’m a fangirl for both.

Designer duo.

Fyodor studied at Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Golan Graduated from Istituto Marangoni London. Their combined experience in the industry includes Alexander McQueen, Issey Miyake, Richard Nicol and Raf Simons. The label’s second season won Fashion Fringe award. In 2015 Awarded Best New E-Store at Decoded Fashion Futures Awards.

FYODOR GOLAN creates for seductive, fragile and fearless woman.
