Perfect idea, perfect graphic design and perfect execution makes up for a perfect calendar.

Once again a proud moment from Estonia based designer Maria Kalasnikova and her new and cool way to track days with these crystal shaped calendars. Neat present for design geeks and print freaks.

This is Type Tomorrow and I shall await more interesting print related products from this collective. For now crystal calendars go for 19€

Here we go

Where’s Waldo?!

Framed by Karl is an artisan eyewear craftsman and designer, for me he’s not just a good designer but also a client of our Hmmm Creative Studio. Meaning I’m part of the team that created his branding, photography, homepage and everything else needed to enter the global market.

That means we also shot the catalogue and I smoothly pushed away our beautiful models to try out some frames myself. My favorites are – Oskar, Linda and Wolfgang. Round shapes. Where’s Waldo?

What differs Karl from other wood-optical designers is that’s his stuff is exttremely custom and sort of couture in it’s proccess. He measures noses, ears, eye shapes head size. The frames are so light and polished a million times, so they don’t really give you a bulky wood feeling. There’s 7 different wood types and 9 different shapes. And of course I’m preeetty proud to play the art director and graphic designer part in his success story. So yeah, that’s me and Framed By Karl for you.

Jeremyville is a co-founder of Studio Jeremyville, with Creative Director Megan Mair he has created designs for Converse, Swatch, Urban Outfitters, Kidrobot, Kiehl’s, Uniqlo and LeSportsac.

Kiehl’s 2016 pühade kollektsiooni visullid on seega teinud Jeremyville.

Jeremyville on omakorda New Yorkis pesitsev illustreerija kelle tööd motiveerivad, inspireerivad ja parandavad maailma.

How much do I love when awesome brands collaborate with awesome artists?! Very very much. As Jamie Oliver would say when he’s tasting his own food – loveitloveitloveitloveit.

Kiehl’s 2016 gift collection visuals come from the hand of Jeremyville.

Jeremyville is a New York based illustrator and social artists who delivers his uplifting and happy messages with sweet recognisable style and simple yet smart illustrations. He was born in Sydney where he studied architecture but turned to illustration instead. Jeremyville draws daily in his sketchbook and shares his Community Service Announcements through his social media, with messages of environmental action, social change, inner growth and positive daily actions. Of course a man has to eat so he collabs with cool brands here and there and we have an opportunity to obtain his designs from our local Kiehl’s stores :)
